Learn French on the pages you already read
NativeLingo swaps a few French words into the websites you read every day, in the right form and at your level.
A few new words on every page.
Words for your level
Set A2 and you meet “rue” long before “vasistas”.
The right form in the sentence
Two dogs becomes “deux chiens”. If we are not sure of the form, you get the plain word.
Typed reviews
Write the word once a day. Spaced repetition brings it back just before you would forget it.
Learn while you read the news, not instead of it.

No. Take the three-minute level test, or start at A1. The words follow you as your level grows.

Learning French vocabulary while you read
Most of us read online every day: news, blogs, forums and documentation. NativeLingo swaps a few of those words for French, in the right form and at your level. You meet fenêtre, café and rue in real sentences, so the words feel familiar long before you study them on purpose.
Each word goes to your list with pronunciation. A short daily review asks you to type the French, and spaced repetition decides when each word comes back. Ten minutes a day is enough to keep growing. Grammar and speaking still need a class or a tandem partner, but the vocabulary keeps coming while you read.
